JA Business Skills Pass Program

The Registered Marketing Professional (RMP) and Registered Business Professional (RBP) Certification Programs were conceptualized by Junior Achievement of the Philippines, Inc. (JA PH) to fill the need for skilled marketing and business students, graduates, and working professionals. These programs aim to help companies find the right people regardless of their school affiliation which is often the criterion used in hiring new graduates. The examination for both programs is developed by top industry practitioners and reputable academic partners such as Pearson Higher Education, McGraw Hill Education, and Oxford Business Group. It is a 2-part exam composed of questions that are 40% theoretical – to check what the students have learned so far in school, and 60% case analysis – to test the students’ abilities to apply those concepts into real-life work situations.
Aside from having the competitive edge and confidence from taking and passing these certification exams, this is actually opening more doors of opportunities for our passers such as having mentoring sessions they can participate in, a chance to get a Canadian or Australian Scholarship, and most importantly, being part of a community where they can build rapport and connections. Moreover, the topnotchers of the certification exams will be part of the Top Future Professionals (TFP) Program of JA PH which is a program for employability training, with a strong focus on career planning and leadership training. This will serve as a bridge program for youth achievers (recent college graduates or graduating college students) who need to sharpen their English communication skills but basically have the other three skills necessary for success in the 21st century: critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. The TFP program will also have internship opportunities with JA PH’s corporate partners.
The Registered Marketing Professional (RMP) and Registered Business Professional (RBP) Certification Programs aim to mold future business leaders and create a community of successful young professionals.
