The Junior Achievement Philippines acknowledged a number of Registered Marketing Educators who have given their time and efforts in equipping the next generation of marketers in the Philippines.

The Registered Marketing Educators Award is given to distinct teachers who have shown dedication in their craft.

RME 1st Batch

Prof. Real C. So, RME

The first awardee has been shuffling across contrasting industries, but has been happily serving as a Marketing Management educator at the University of Sto. Tomas for almost 5 years now.

His wide experience in various disciplines make him an able columnist in three respected business dailies in the Philippines.

He considers himself a person who is averse to publicity, but we are proudly making it public tonight that he is among JAPI’s most regarded Marketing Educators.

Prof. Robert U. Lao, RME

The second recipient is a full-time educator handling Business subjects at the University of Santo Tomas.

His rich and extensive background in market research and later on in the telecommunication industry has given him strong insights on market behaviour, analysis, including business ethics – principles which his students learn from him to this day.

Dr. Mary Felidora Florinor M. Amparo, Ph.D, RME

The list won’t be complete without this dynamic lady who has been an active part of JAPI’s training programs and learning events. Her extensive experience and skills in marketing communications and in business has been instrumental in her mentorship of the JAPI/FedEx teams for the International Trade Challenge since it started.

She finished her Journalism degree at University of the Philippines Diliman and completed her Masters of Business Administration at De La Salle University Manila and in 2004 she finished her Doctoral study in Management at De La Salle University Dasmariñas/

At present, she is the Dean of the College of Business Administration at the De La Salle University – Dasamarinas. She is always generous of her time and her knowledge to make sure JAPI teams are well-trained and equipped in presentations and competitions.

Dr. Demetrio Salipsip, RME

Completing our roster of exemplary marketing educators is an established business educator.

He has completed his MBA at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, and later on proceeded to finish his PhD in Management at the International Academy of Management and Economics.

He has written publications on leadership, business education, and workplace issues, and has kept on sharing his experience, knowledge, and insights on business, marketing  and entrepreneurship to his students.

RME 2nd Batch

Prof. Romualdo A. Romualdo, RME

Our first awardee is a respectable leader, educator, and consultant of various leading companies. He is currently the Marketing Officer of Miriam College under the Office of the President. His experiences involve consultancy work, market research, and handling various brands such as Dockers and Levi Strauss. He has received various awards and merits in his field making him one of the top marketers in the industry.

Prof. Glory I. Dela Peña, RME

Our second awardee is a faculty from the School of Accountancy and Business Management at Saint Louis University. She continues to write various research work on advertising, marketing strategies in the ASEAN integration, and the Calendar Shift. With her experiences, she has been awarded Best Entrepreneurship Educator and Presidential Awardee for Competence in field of Education. She has also been part of Jollibee, Shakey’s, and a restaurant owner of Tita Oyee’s Kitchen.

Prof. Juanito P. Victoria, RME

Our third awardee is a teacher in the Lyceum of the Philippines for 27 years. He has conducted numerous seminars on business and marketing. He has made in-house seminars, courses and workshops for Unilever Philippines. His great achievements allowed him to receive various awards in the academe.
